Analyzing Invade: Islamic State’s New Pakistan-Focused Propaganda Magazine

Overview

In February 2026, a new English-language propaganda magazine titled Invade appeared online, produced by Nashir Pakistan, a media outlet affiliated with Islamic State – Pakistan Province (ISPP). While officially an ISPP product, the magazine’s production quality, rhetorical sophistication, and thematic scope are assessed as consistent with the broader media capacity and editorial style of Islamic State – Khorasan Province (ISKP), suggesting significant overlap or coordination between the two entities’ media apparatuses. The 55-page inaugural issue represents an escalation in IS’s anglophone media strategy in the region, operating alongside the existing Voice of Khorasan magazine (published since January 2022 by ISKP’s al-Azaim Foundation). While Voice of Khorasan tends toward geopolitical commentary and doctrinal exposition, Invade is distinguished by its operational focus, explicit attack guidance, and Pakistan-centric orientation.
